The Manhattan Theatre Club will be hosting a free live staged reading of select scenes from the feature film screenplay 'Wonder Drug' on Tuesday, August 17, from 5:30-6:30 PM. This will include the reading and a brief question and answer period. Doors open at 5PM.

Written by Caitlin McCarthy, 'Wonder Drug' is a scientific drama about DES (diethylstilbestrol), the world's first drug disaster. The reading stars David Alan Basche and Alysia Reiner. It also co-stars Jessica Blank, Victoria Cartagena, Peter Hermann, Erik Jensen, Lucy McMichael and Jeff Pucillo. The reading is directed by Tom Gilroy, and the event is produced by Lindsay Roth and Cheryl Roth.
