The top 8 pairs put on their dancing shoes for "Movie Night" in week 5 of the competition. Throughout the show, couples performed to songs from the big screen.

First up were Niecy Nash and Louis van Amstel performing the Jive to a song from "La Bamba." There was a lot of shimmying and shaking, but her leg movements were very awkward and staccato. It ended with her laying a kiss on Len's forehead, leaving a huge lipstick outline, making it hard to take him seriously.

The three judges all pretty much agreed on the fact that Niecy's lady lumps were a little more active during the dance than her legs. Len chose the words "bounce in your bazookas," Bruno said, "so much going on the upper decks," and Carrie Ann called her the "Shimmy Queen." All 3 judges gave the performance a score of 6.

In the "Bazooka boutique," or the "Celebriquarium," Niecy made a plea to "big girls" to vote for her saying, "I'm tired and I'm hungry."

Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke were next performing their Quickstep routine to "Bare Necessities" from Disney's "The Jungle Book." They deserve a high score in my book for song choice alone. The best part is when the little kid sings, "Yeah man." The routine wasn't anything exceptional, but it wasn't bad either.

Bruno said it was a little bit too wild, while Carrie Ann said that there was a lack of body contact in the hold. This of course led Chad to make awkward "contact" comments. Len said that the performance was pretty good. Again, the judges gave out 6's across the board.

Erin Andrews and Maks Chmerkovskiy danced the Jive to a song from "Pulp fiction." They're video before their dance was definitely entertaining, and their endless arguments provided endless laughs. Their routine was upbeat and fun and Erin definitely gave it her all.

Carrie Ann gave some fashion advice, telling Erin that wearing black shoes draws the judge's eyes even more towards her feet. Len had a few pointers but overall thought they did a really good job and Bruno thought it was Erin's best timing ever, telling her that she didn't go wrong once. Carrie Ann and Len gave them 7's while Bruno gave them an 8.

Regardless of their dancing skills, I think they're the best couple ever. Erin made it known that she would like Maks to get her a ring like Chad got Cheryl.

Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower performed a "Risky Business" inspired Cha Cha. Starting off in just his dress shirt, Jake seemed like he was having a great time up there. I think he should have stayed pants-less the entire performance.

And when it came time for the judges to give their critiques, Bruno agreed with me, saying "Jake, you cheeky bugger, why did you put your pants on?" Len and Carrie Ann also loved the performance, awarding them with an 8, 7, and 8.

Pamela Anderson and DamIan Whitewood danced the Quickstep to "9 to 5," taking awhile to actually get into the dance. There were only a few parts where the routine was actually "quick" but the part where they went over the table and two chairs was pretty impressive.
Bruno loved her characterization, while Carrie Ann made a blasphemous statement that she would love to see Pamela on Broadway. Please, no. Len was on track with my thoughts, saying that there was too much messing around and not enough dancing. Their scores were a 7 from Carrie Ann, a 6 from Len, and an 8 from Bruno.

Kate Gosselin and Dovolani were up next, Fox-trotting to a song from "The Breakfast Club." Kate doesn't seem like she's trying at all, and the fact that America keeps voting her through despite awful routines probably isn't helping to motivate her. It really is hard to watch her dance, and if I were Dovolani I'd have a bone to pick with the producers for sticking me with her. You really can't help but laugh when you see her attempts at "dancing."

Carrie Ann said the routine was like the Charlie Brown teacher's "Wah wah wah"-ing. Len said "it wasn't a dance, it was a stroll," while Bruno called it catatonic. She received 5's from all three judges. Oh, and Kate, stop trying to get pity votes because you have 8 kids, it's old news.

Next up were Nicole and Derek dancing the Tango to "Pretty Woman." Nicole seems so natural while dancing, and their performance was amazing! They got rave reviews from the judges- Len said that it was the best dance of the season and Carrie Ann called them superstars. Bruno got extremely worked up while critiquing their dance and after jumping around for awhile, he called it perfection. The two received 10's from Bruno and Carrie Ann and a 9 from Len.

Last to perform this week were last weeks' highest scoring team Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya. It's impressive to think that Evan is performing on Dancing with the Stars and is also a part of the Stars on Ice Tour. That man has got some talent and dedication, and not a lot of sleep!

They performed a Rumba to "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing." It was a very graceful and pretty routine, but not as enjoyable as Nicole and Derek's. All three judges gave the performance positive reviews, calling his lines exquisite and his movement's fluid. Evan and Anna received three 9's from the judges, leaving them in second place for the evening.

All 7 teams showcase their fancy footwork on Mondays, at 8:00-10:00 PM. The couple with the lowest combined judges' scores and public votes for both performances will be sent home.
Viewers may cast their votes for their favorite teams via phone on Monday night during and up to 30 minutes after the "Dancing with the Stars" performance shows. AT&T customers may also text message their votes by texting the word "VOTE" and entering the number that corresponds to the team they want to support (message and data rates may apply). Viewers may also vote online at www.abc.com starting from the opening of each episode on the East Coast and until 12:00 Noon, ET the following day.
