DATELINE NBC Tops Big 4 in Total Viewers on Friday

NBC is currently #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in total viewers and is top rated among those networks, excluding sports, in adults 18-49, led by "Dateline NBC," the night's #1 show on the Big 4 in total viewers and the #1 non-sports show on those networks in 18-49, pending updates.

"Dateline NBC" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) is currently the night's #1 show on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in total viewers and the #1 non-sports telecast on those nets in 18-49, pending updates. In the time period, "Dateline" is the #1 non-sports telecast on ABC, CBS and NBC in every key ratings category and is #1 overall in total viewers.

"Dateline NBC" is currently matching its highest 18-49 rating for a Friday telecast since May 31 and is reporting its highest Friday adult 25-54 rating since that same date, pending updates.

At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall) is currently matching NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the half-hour since June 28 ("Dateline NBC") and attracting the network's biggest audience in the time period since that same date, pending updates.

At 8:30, a second rebroadcast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall) is currently earning NBC's best 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time slot since June 28, pending updates.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.3/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.9/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.6/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
