ComedySportz Houston to Open GREAT GAME SHOW MASH-UP, 1/3

ComedySportz invites you to come on down and see what you've won during their brand new production, The Great Game Show Mash-Up, opening January 2014. Produced by the same folks that brought you zany comedy hits Ampersand! and the UNSCRIPTED series, The Great Game Show Mash-Up takes to the ComedySportz stage on Friday and Saturday nights in January, featuring all of your favorite game shows - but with a slight twist!

Contestants will compete from both their seats and the stage to find out who will be crowned the ultimate game show champion during the hour long competition. Drawing inspiration from game show classics like The Price is Right and Family Feud, The Great Game Show Mash-Up combines elements from a multitude of shows pitting teams of audience members against each other for a chance at the ultimate prize: game show glory! The "live studio audience" will be in stitches as the competitors play in oddball games like Let's Fake a Deal and 1 vs (somewhere around) 100. The games may be familiar, but the comedic genius is unmistakably unique with no two shows being exactly alike. So no matter which door you choose, as long as it's the front door at the ComedySportz Arena, you're sure to have a great time!

Performances of The Great Game Show Mash-Up will take place at the ComedySportz Arena on Fridays and Saturdays during January, 2014 at 10:30pm. Then, starting in February, 2014 performances will be held exclusively on Fridays at 10:30pm. Regular admission is $12.00, with group rates available. Like some previously staged works at the ComedySportz Arena, The Great Game Show Mash-Up will be for Adults Only, 17+ due to strong language and graphic content.

Regular ComedySportz matches are held at 8:00pm every Friday and Saturday. Premiering in February, 2014 Alice in Wonderland: UNSCRIPTED will be held at 10:30pm on Saturdays through April, 2014. All shows are presented at the ComedySportz Arena, 901 Town & Country Blvd. (I-10 West and the Sam Houston Parkway). Admission ranges from $12 - $18 depending on the show.
