CW 11 Goes Behind the Scenes at 'Mamma Mia' 7/16

MAMMA MIA! leading lady, Tony Award® nominated stage favorite Carolee Carmello, who stars as the "Donna Sheridan" in the smash hit musical on Broadway, brings CW 11 Morning News host Jill Nicolini back stage at the Winter Garden Theater to fulfill her dream in becoming a "Dynamo for a Day."

Tune in to CW 11 Morning News tomorrow morning, Wednesday, July 16th in the 7:30 a.m. half hour as Carmello walks Nicolini through a crash course in dancing in platform boots, wearing spandex with confidence, and the patented secret behind "Donna hair."

MAMMA MIA! - The Movie, produced by Judy Craymer and Gary Goetzman, will be released in North America this Friday, July 18th, 2008. Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan lead an all-star cast in the feature-film adaptation of the beloved musical that has been seen by more than 30 million people in 160 cities and 8 languages around the world. Bringing the timeless lyrics and melodies of iconic super group ABBA to movie audiences, Summer 2008 is the season for MAMMA MIA!

MAMMA MIA! plays on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway) Wednesday through Saturday at 8 p.m., with matinees on Wednesday and Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 2 and 7 p.m.
