Due to the Election Night coverage, a lot of your favorite Tuesday night shows have been preempted, or they are airing reruns, so in Tuesday's "But, Wait! What's On TV Tonight?" picks we have an eclectic smorgasbord of television programming; from political coverage to comic books to vampires to movie musicals. So, what will you be watching tonight?

Election Night Coverage | All Night | Many Networks

Tonight is a special night in America. The opportunity for everyone to exercise their Constitutional right and have their voice heard in a bloodless revolution... No, it's not the AMERICAN IDOL Finale, it's Election Day. All of the cable news networks will be covering the congressional returns all night, and the networks pick up coverage at 10:00pm. So, make sure you go out and vote, and then at least flip over to the returns during commercials; a little social responsibility won't kill you.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES | 8:00-9:00pm | The CW

With Damon now back in the world of the living, how will the gang react? Will Enzo and Alaric fight over the #1 BFF spot? Too bad Alaric is too busy dealing with Jo, who cannot be compelled for some unknown reason. Elsewhere, Matt and Sarah dig for information, Jeremy lashes out, and a rescue mission for Enzo is put into place. I can only imagine Damon's 'WTF' reaction when he finds out Alaric has compelled Elena's memories.

MARVEL: 75 Years, From Pulp to Pop! | 9:00-10:00pm | ABC

With the ever expanding Marvel Universe now taking up more and more space (no pun intended) on TV and in the movie theatre, it is hard to keep track of everything you NEED TO KNOW to be able to make sense of what you are watching. This hour long special, hosted by the glorious Emily Van Camp (REVENGE's Emily Thorne, CAPTAIN AMERICA's Agent 13 Sharon Carter), will make sure you are up-to-date on all things MARVEL, and their planned 174 films to be released over the next decade.

GREASE and GREASE 2 | 6:00-11:00pm | ABC Family

"We go together like Cool Rider and Reproduction." Wait, what? That's not how it goes? All of the songs just kind of blur together for me. Before I directed a production of GREASE, I wasn't a big fan of the original; I wasn't comfortable with the message of Sandy having to basically become a skank to get her man. On the other hand, I loved the cheesy RIDICULOUSNESS of GREASE 2. Shows you my unique cultural palette. If you don't care about politics or comic books, this is probably going to be your best TV bet tonight.
