Just in via TonyAwards.com - the American Theatre Wing's 71st annual Tony Awards® will take place on Sunday, June 11, 2017.

A location for the live telecast will be announced at a later date.

The CBS Television Network will broadcast the Tony Awards live from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. ET (delayed PT). This will mark the 40th consecutive year the Tony Awards show has aired on CBS.

The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

New Eligibility Cut-Off and Nominations Dates Announced

Other new dates have also been announced:

  • The official eligibility cut-off date will now be Thursday, April 27, 2017, for all Broadway productions opening in the 2016-2017 season. Productions that meet all other eligibility requirements and open on or before the eligibility date are considered eligible for 2017 Tony Award nominations.
  • The Nominations for the 2017 Tony Awards will be announced live on May 2nd, 2017, from New York City.
