Brava Theatre Presents COME AS YOU ARE 9.17

On September 17th, for ONE NIGHT ONLY Brava Theatre is proud to present COME AS YOU ARE

This year, Brava is honored to participate in the National Commemoration of Stonewall's 40th Anniversary with Come As You Are. In collaboration with Theatre Offensive, project leaders of this national campaign taking place in cities coast to coast - from Anchorage, AK to Burlington, VT, Brava is producing a series of 13 short works celebrating queer culture. The works discuss sex and gay sexuality in an upfront and joyful manner.

The Stonewall Riots took place in 1969, and have since become a potent emblem for the gay community representing the stand against oppression and demanding full equality in every area of life.

Come As You Are are works written by several Boston playwrights commenting on cyber sex- fantasy, love, and the excentricity of gay sex that should be expressed in our mainstream society. Its going to be HOT!

Join us for this steamy ONE NIGHT ONLY event on September 17, 2010 at 7:00 PM. To be made affordable to our entire community, tickets are ONLY $10 Suggested Donation on a sliding scale.
