Beijing Playhouse, China's English Broadway Theatre, is always looking for experienced actors as well as undiscovered talent. Aspiring actors can come to Beijing Playhouse and try their hand at acting and receive pointers from Beijing Playhouse crew. Meet fellow actors. Learn about volunteer crew positions for this show and future Beijing Playhouse shows.

Thinking About Auditioning for a Future Show? If you are thinking about auditioning for the Christmas musical comedy Wizard of Oz, this is the perfect opportunity to talk to the crew and learn more about the show. Show crew will be there to answer questions.

Wizard of Oz: Join Beijing Playhouse for song and dance this Christmas. A fairy tale for the children with a whole different level of humor for the adults--a munchinized Christmas comedy for adults and children alike. There's no over-the-rainbow or follow-the-yellow-brick-road in the crazy show. Heck, there are no rainbows! And the bricks aren't even yellow! Be prepared for a whole new zany twist on a classic story.

In true British comedy tradition, audience members are invited to cheer and boo and hiss as Dorothy, Tin Guy, Not So Brave Lion and Scaredy Crow Man find their way to Santa, uh, I mean, the Wizard himself. Glenda the Good Witch, with a penchant for cigars and martinis, helps them along. The Wicked Witch of the East tries to stop them at every turn. Munchkins and flying monkeys all help Dorothy and her friends discover the magic of Christmas.
