Bay Street's summer Comedy Club line-up just keeps gettin' better! Two comic greats - Joy Behar and Darrell Hammond have been added to the roster for 2 special performances on 4th of July Weekend.

JOY BEHAR returns to Bay Street to keep the Long Wharf laughing on Saturday, July 3rd at 8pm. As a Daytime Emmy Award-winner, Behar is one of the two original co-hosts of ABC's THE VIEW, along with Barbara Walters, and is among today's leading comic talents. Whether performing stand-up comedy or interviewing politicians and artists, she is a comedic original and a leading woman both on stage and screen.

In addition to many successful years on THE VIEW, Behar recently launched her Headline News show THE JOY BEHAR SHOW to rave reviews. She has made numerous television and film appearances, and had a successful run in the off-Broadway hit "The Food Chain" and the critically-acclaimed "The Vagina Monologues". Joy is also an author, having penned three books including the New York Times bestselling children's book "Sheetzucacapoopoo: My Kind of Dog".

Ms. Behar is a great friend of Bay Street Theatre and her appearances are always sold out events. As a member of Bay Street's Artistic Associates Committee, Behar will also be co-hosting Bay Street's Summer Gala on Saturday, July 17th with Mario Cantone.
The holiday fun continues as DARRELL HAMMOND returns to the Bay Street stage on Monday, July 5th at 8pm. As the longest-running cast member of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, Hammond, brought to life a cavalcade of politicians, media figures, celebrities and news makers, including John McCain, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Dick Cheney, Sean Connery, Regis Philbin, Donald Trump and Dan Rather. Although retired from the show since 2009, Hammond continues to make guest appearances on NBC's late night weekend favorite. Hammond last appeared in Bay Street's 2008 Mainstage Production of Christopher Durang's BEYOND THERAPY as the zany and psychotic therapist, as well as, in two sold-out stand-up performances.

In addition to SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, Hammond has acted in numerous films, and has also appeared on LAW AND ORDER: SVU, THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN, and most recently on FX's hit series DAMAGES alongside Glenn Close. Darrell appears frequently on CBS' "LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN" and NBC's "THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO".

Both comedy performances begin at 8pm. Tickets are $75 for centers and $60 for sides and sell out quickly. Tickets go on sale for subscribers ONLY on Friday, April 30th and to the general public on Friday, May 7th.
