TV: The Three Alisons of FUN HOME Unite at Stars in the Alley!

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, took place on Friday June 3rd in Shubert Alley. Hosted by Tony nominee Sean Hayes and Mo Rocca, Broadway's best once again turned out for the annual performance - including FUN HOME's Beth Malone, Emily Skeggs and Gabriella Pizzolo, who performed "Flying Away."

Based on Alison Bechdel's best-selling graphic memoir, Fun Home features music by Jeanine Tesori, book and lyrics by Lisa Kron and direction by Sam Gold, whose work on this production earned them Tony Awards for Best Score, Best Book and Best Direction. Fun Home is currently playing to sold-out crowds at the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street), and was was the first Broadway show of the 2014-2015 season to recoup financially, doing so in only eight months.
