Amanda Holden to Fly Into London's CINDERELLA as the Fairy Godmother

BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT judge Amanda Holden has a busy theatre schedule this year. After touring with STEPPING OUT this autumn, the Daily Mail reports she will fly into the London Palladium production of CINDERELLA as the Fairy Godmother, for a five-week run from December 9.

As previously announced, CINDERELLA's 32-strong cast will be led by Paul O'Grady as The Wicked Stepmother, Julian Clary as Dandini, Lee Mead as Prince Charming, Paul Zerdin as Buttons, Nigel Havers as Lord Chamberlain and Count Arthur Strong as Baron Hardup.

CINDERELLA, the most enchanting rags-to-riches fairy tale of them all, will grace the stage of the West End's most famous theatre this Christmas as pantomime returns to the London Palladium for the first time in nearly three decades.

Directed by Michael Harrison and co-directed and choreographed by Andrew Wright, CINDERELLA is designed by Ian Westbrook with costume designs for Paul O'Grady and Julian Clary by Hugh Durrant. Lighting design is by Ben Cracknell with projections byDuncan McLean, sound by Gareth Owen, musical supervision and orchestration by Gary Hind, musical direction by Greg Arrowsmith and visual special effects by The Twins FX.

Holden, best known as a judge on ITV's BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT since it debuted in 2007 is set to tour with the new production of Richard Harris's 1984 play STEPPING OUT. She has also played the role of 'Sarah Trevanion' in WILD AT HEART and the title role in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, for which she was nominated for an Olivier Award. Her more recent TV credits include SUPERSTAR, THIS MORNING and GIVE A PET A HOME.
