The Path Fund, Inc. has announced that Tony Award nominees John Tartaglia (Avenue Q) and Chad Kimball (Memphis) and Tony Award winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal) along with Jeremy Kushnier (Jersey Boys) and Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid) will appear in the upcoming "ROCKERS ON BROADWAY – BEHIND THE MUSIC" concert scheduled to take place tonight, October 15th at the newly re-designed Cutting Room reopened at its new location (44 East 32nd Street, NYC) at 8:00PM. 

They will be joined on stage by previously announced Academy, Grammy and Golden Globe-Award winning composer Paul Williams (A Star Is Born, The Muppet Movie), and three-time Tony-Award winning composer Rupert Holmes (The Mystery Of Edwin Drood, Curtains) will headline the event.  Proceeds will benefit The ASCAP Foundation's Children Will Listen Program, The Broadway Dreams Foundation and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.  Complete casting for this latest edition of Broadway's favorite Rock and Roll concert series will be announced shortly.

"ROCKERS ON BROADWAY – BEHIND THE MUSIC" will honor the crossover talents of songwriters who have written chart topping hits as well as musicals for theater, film and television. The evening will feature a line up of Rock Stars and Broadways finest performing songs written by pop and rock and roll luminaries including Elton John (The Lion King), Pete Townshend (The Who's Tommy), Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and Billy Joel (Movin' Out) There will also be a tribute to the late Marvin Hamlisch (A Chorus Line, The Way We Were), and extremely rare and anticipated performances by both Paul Williams and Rupert Holmes who will be the evening's lifetime achievement honorees.

"ROCKERS ON BROADWAY – BEHIND THE MUSIC" will be a return to Rockers on Broadway's origins started in1993 when The Who's Tommy was preparing to open on Broadway. One day during rehearsals original member of The Who and Tommy composer Pete Townshend approached cast member Donnie Kehr about doing a couple of live concerts around the city.  Nineteen editions later Rockers on Broadway is going strong bringing together the worlds of Rock and Roll and The Great White Way.

Such charities have included Broadway Dreams Foundation, Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS, UNICEF, Save The Children, The Bachman-Strauss Dystonia & Parkinson Foundation, Wingspan Arts.
