Acclaimed Korean Flutist Sang An Kim at Weill Recital Hall Sept. 15

Internationally acclaimed flutist Sang Ae Kim will make her New York recital debut on Thursday, September 15 at 8 PM in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Joined by pianist Jae Youn Yoo and cellist Jaehyeon Ha, Ms. Kim performs Robert Beaser's Variations for Flute and Piano, Gaubert's 3 Aquarelles, Holliger's (é)cri(t), Martin's Ballade for Flute and Piano, and the Flute Sonata in D Major by Vinci.

Ms. Kim is the solo flutist of the Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra in Korea. She has performed as soloist with the Paris Massy Orchestra in France, Manhattan Chamber Orchestra in New York, and Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra in Korea. As a recitalist and chamber musician, she has been featured in the Kumho Young Artist Solo Recital Series in Korea, Saarburger Serenaden International Music Festival in Germany, and the Arona Music Festival in Spain. The 2015 winner of Korea's Young Artist Award, Ms. Kim has received top honors in competitions throughout Korea, Japan and the United States.
