Aaron Tveit Lands Lead Role in Romantic Comedy STEREOTYPICALLY YOU

Deadline reports that Broadway's Aaron Tveit has landed the lead role in the upcoming romantic comedy film STEREOTYPICALLY YOU, from writer-director Benjamin Cox.

The 'Les Mis' star will portray Charlie, who "goes on a hallucination-fueled post-breakup quest in New York City to find new love - and himself." Kal Penn, Shane McRae, Lauren Miller, Abby Elliot, Chris Elliot, Annaleigh Ashford, Lewis Black, Kelen Coleman will also star.

Tveit currently plays Mike Warren, on the new usa network series Graceland. The actor most recently played Frank Abagnale Jr. in the Broadway production of CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, for which he was nominated for the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical, the Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance, and the Fred Astaire Award for Best Male Dancer on Broadway.

Tveit's other Broadway credits include Link in HAIRSPRAY, Fiyero in WICKED and Gabe in NEXT TO NORMAL. His television credits include a recurring role on Gossip Girl as well as guest spots on Ugly Betty, Body Of Proof and the Good Wife. Sunjata has appeared on Broadway in CYRANO DE BERGERAC, TAKE ME OUT and TWELFTH NIGHT, though he's likely best known for his role on FX's Rescue Me.
