The Broadway at Birdland concert series presents Steven Brinberg as SIMPLY BARBRA in 70 GIRL, 70! - A Birthday Celebration Concert tonight, April 23 at 7pm. Special musical guests will be Corey Mach, from the cast of Godspell, Karl Warden from How To Succeed and Merrily We Roll Along, and the cabaret showstopper Marilyn Maye.

On the eve of Barbra Streisand's 70th birthday, internationally renowned impersonator Steven Brinberg celebrates the diva with songs she sang in the 70's.  Christopher Denny will musical direct.

Steven Brinberg has been acclaimed worldwide for his vocal performance of Barbra Streisand. In addition to touring the United States, he has also performed extensively in England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, Spain, Mexico and Canada...more cities than the real Barbra! He regularly appears in Symphony concerts with none other than Marvin Hamlisch, the Oscar-winning composer of “The Way We Were.” Several years ago, Steven was hired by Streisand's management to perform at Donna Karan's birthday party. He has recorded two CDs and has appeared in several feature films and on television, as well as onstage at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center and on Broadway in the benefit production of Funny Girl, which featured Whoopi Goldberg.

Steven Brinberg as Simply Barbra, 70 Girl, 70! - A Birthday Celebration Concert, runs Monday, April 23 at 7pm at the Birdland, located at 315 West 44 Street, NYC. Call 212-581-3080 or visit BirdlandJazz.com for more information. $30 cover plus $10 food/drink minimum per person.
