2013-2014 Season Update

I am happy to announce further casting for our upcoming production of Violet. Joshua Henryand Colin Donnell will join the previously announced Sutton Foster. Colin joined the Roundabout family starring opposite Sutton in our Tony Award-winning production of Anything Goes. And Joshua, who also played Flick in the Encores Off-Center Reading, was nominated for a Tony for his performance in The Scottsboro Boys. I am thrilled that they both will be joining us for this exciting production, and I look forward to announcing further casting soon. Please visit our website for more information and tickets.

I also wanted to announce a change in scheduling for this season. Just Jim Dale will be the third production at the Laura Pels Theatre this season, written by Jim Dale and directed by Richard Maltby Jr. Our production of Cutie and Bear has been postponed.

Jim is a longtime member of the Roundabout Family, most recently on Broadway in The Road to Mecca. Richard has countless credits to his name as director, conceiver, and lyricist, including Tony Awards for Ain't Misbehavin' and Fosse. We presented Just Jim Dale as a part of our Friends of Roundabout Playreading Series. The show features Jim alone onstage, accompanied by a piano, telling the story of his rise from the British Music Hall to Broadway and beyond.
