This spring the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center will present two Broadway hits with return engagements of Mamma Mia! and Annie.

Tickets for both productions start at $43 and go on sale Friday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m.. Tickets can be purchased at the Fox Cities P.A.C. ticket office in person or by calling (920) 730-3760 or through Ticketmaster online and phone at (800) 982-2787. Mamma Mia! Feb. 27-March 1

Seen by over 54 million people around the world, Mamma Mia!, is celebrating 5,000 performances on Broadway and is the 9th longest running show in Broadway history The original West End production of Mamma Mia! is now in its fifteenth year and has celebrated over 6,000 performances in London and the international tour has visited more than 74 foreign cities in 35 countries and been seen by over 43 million people The blockbuster feature film adaption of Mamma Mia! is the most successful movie musical of all time grossing $600 million worldwide.

Seen in 38 productions in 14 different languages globally and with a worldwide gross of over $2 Billion, Mamma Mia! is acclaimed by the Associated Press as "quite simply a phenomenon."

An independent, single mother who owns a small hotel on an idyllic Greek island, Donna is about to let go of Sophie, the spirited daughter she's raised alone. For Sophie's wedding, Donna has invited her two lifelong best girlfriends-practical and no-nonsense Rose and wealthy, multi-divorcee Tanya-from her one-time backing band, Donna and the Dynamos. But Sophie has secretly invited three guests of her own.

On a quest to find the identity of her father to walk her down the aisle, she brings back three men from Donna's past to the Mediterranean paradise they visited 20 years earlier Over 24 chaotic, magical hours, new love will bloom and old romances will be rekindled on this lush island full of possibilities.

Inspired by the storytelling magic of ABBA's songs from "Dancing Queen" and "S.O.S." to "Money, Money, Money" and "Take A Chance on Me," Mamma Mia! is a celebration of mothers and daughters, old friends and new family found.

Mamma Mia! is produced by Work Light Productions, whose other touring productions include American Idiot, Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Nice Work If You Can Get It and Chaplin.

The original production of Mamma Mia! was produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East and Bjorn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal, the creative team responsible for bringing Mamma Mia! to theatrical life includes some of the most gifted and celebrated talents of musical theatre and opera With music and lyrics by Benny Anderssson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, Mamma Mia! is written by Catherine Johnson and directed by Phyllida Lloyd. Mamma Mia! has choreography by Anthony Van Laast, production design by Mark Thompson, lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch .

Mamma Mia! was the first Broadway production to take the stage at the Fox Cities P.A.C. in November 2002 This marks Mamma Mia's ! seventh engagement at the Center and it remains a Fox Cities' favorite.

Annie March 24-29

ANNIE has a book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin. All three authors received 1977 Tony Awards for their work. Choreography is by Liza Gennaro, who will incorporate selections from her father Peter Gennaro's 1977 Tony Award-winning choreography.

The original production of ANNIE opened April 21, 1977 at the Alvin Theatre and went on to win the New York Drama Critic Circle Award for Best Musical, seven Drama Desk Awards including Best Musical, the Grammy for Best Cast Show Album and seven Tony Awards , including Best Musical, Best Book (Thomas Meehan) and Best Score (Charles Strouse, Martin Charnin). The show remains one of the biggest Broadway musical hits ever. It ran for 2,377 performances after it first opened and has been performed in 28 languages and has been running somewhere around the world for 37 years.

The beloved score for ANNIE includes "Maybe," "It's the Hard Knock Life," "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile," "Easy Street," "I Don't Need Anything But You" and the eternal anthem of optimism, "Tomorrow."

The celebrated design team includes scenic design by Tony Award winner Beowulf Boritt (Act One, The Scottsboro Boys, Rock of Ages), costume design by Costume Designer's Guild Award Winner Suzy Benzinger (Blue Jasmine, Movin' Out, Miss Saigon), lighting design by Tony Award winner Ken Billington (Chicago, Annie, White Christmas) and sound design by Tony Award nominee Peter Hylenksi (Rocky, Bullets Over Broadway, Motown) The lovable mutt "Sandy" will once again be trained by Tony Award Honoree William Berloni (Annie, A Christmas Story, Legally Blonde ) Musical supervision and additional orchestrations are by Keith Levenson (Annie, She Loves Me, Dreamgirls) Casting is by Joy Dewing CSA and Holly Buczak CSA, Joy Dewing Casting (Soul Doctor, Wonderland, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) The tour is produced by Troika Entertainment, LLC.

This brand new production features a 25 member company: in the title role of Annie is Issie Swickle, a 9 year-old actress from David, FL, making her tour debut. Gilgamesh Taggett will star as Oliver Warbucks In the role of Miss Hannigan is Lynn Andrews. Also starring in the tour are Ashley Edler as Grace, Garrett Deagon as Rooster, Lucy Werner as Lily and Allan Ray Baker as FDR. Sunny , a 4 year-old rescue terrier mix, stars as Sandy

The Orphans are Angelina Carballo, Adia Dant, LillyBea Ireland, Sydney Shuck, Lilly Mae Stewart, Isabel Wallach.
