This year at Adelaide Fringe, Ink Pot Arts will offer the restaging of their highly successful production Through The Looking Glass at the Waldorf Living Art Centre from March 1 to 8 and a new community initiative in their Creative Hub called Cultivating Creativity. Thanks to a partnership with The District Council of Mt Barker and StoryTeller Multimedia & Events, Cultivating Community is an effort to held patrons connect with the arts and their own imaginations while at Fringe.

Cultivating Creativity offers a diverse program of events with something for everyone from a kids afternoon of storytelling to a Fringe Promo taster event to a long awaited "Wine & Words" night hosted by local poet Jude Aquilina.

Phi Theodoros, program director at StoryTeller: Multimedia & Events, said "Cultivating Creativity is Ink Pot Art's diverse new program during Adelaide Fringe 2014, encouraging you to connect with the local community, fantastic artists and grow your own creativity."

"I wanted The Fringe to be more accessible to Adelaide Hills audiences, and to offer opportunities for people to connect, engage and grow their own creativity in Ink Pot's fantastic Creative Hub space," said Theodoros.

With more than 25 local and international artists involved the program is not only providing a diverse range of opportunities for audiences, but also for local artists and emerging performers. Currently they are confirming their line-up for their Fringe Unplugged event, which ran in February 2012 with fantastic reception from its audiences, but all will be announced on the Ink Pot Arts Facebook page in the coming weeks.

"Phi and Ink Pot are constantly striving to build creative communities in the Adelaide Hills, the Fringe program Cultivating Creativity is no exception." Says District Council of Mount Barker Community Development Officer Peter McGinn. "This program will see Ink Pot Arts fostering new opportunities for Hills residents to engage in the arts and highlight how talented our growing community is. I'm thrilled to support this program and hope to see it flourish in years to come."
