If there's one show you see this fringe, make it The Flanagan Collective's Fable at The Queens Theatre, The Red Queen.

A modern-day Ulysses, this Joycean fable of the delightful anarchy that lies within connects our magical child with everyday existence. It suggests that desire manifests reality, reaffirming our innate belief as a truth, as do all the best fables.

This entrancing, exhilarating theatre piece is performed brilliantly by Holly Beasley-Garrigan and Dominic Allen, with music written by Jim Harbourne and played by Wilfred Petherbridge.

There's a magic heart to this show, in the true sense of the idea, which looks deeply into humanity, where particles collide to create inner dreams as you recreate your life. The Flanagan Collective's Fable is one of those rare events that will make you rethink your existence as part of the universe. Don't miss it.
