Anya Anastasia Returns to The Adelaide Fringe for Two Shows Only, 2/20 & 3/6

Local talent Anya Anastasia, (now internationally acclaimed cabaret performer) returns to the Adelaide Fringe to present a grand spectacle, showcasing and celebrating a selection of the fine performers that she has met in her travels.

Anya's shows have been nominated for 'Spirit of the Fringe' award in Prague, and 'Best Music' in the Dunedin Fringe, New Zealand. She also has performances in Berlin, London, Canberra and Melbourne under her belt. This year her Fringe offering will showcase her latest work, and also boasts a fantastic line up of the budding stars of cabaret from around Australia including Liz Skitch, (Vic) and Rachel Collis (NSW)

Since her return from Europe, as well as crafting new works, Anya has taken a great interest in presenting events that showcase other artists. She directed the Hills Secret Garden in 2013: a festival of art music and cabaret in the Adelaide Hills, and curated a monthly variety show at La Boheme in the last half of 2013. Her events are meticulously presented with their professionalism and attention to detail featuring many little touches that complement the overall theme of the occasion.

Find her and her elaborately costumed entourage of provocateurs at the Fringe this year... they'll leave no stone unturned. Cabaret as a mirror, cabaret that demolishes the facade of polite conversation ferociously tackling the fears that choke our voices and shedding them with the breath of a startling melody or blissful song that leaves the questions for dead.
