One of South Australia's most talented and loved musicians Niki Vasilakis will engage audiences in a series of relaxed and informal classical concerts over three months, August 21, October 23 and November 20.

The new series of intimate classical performances have been curated by Niki, a world-class concert violinist and former Young South Australian of the Year. Other performers include high-profile South Australian pianist Anna Goldsworthy.

The aim of the format is to break down the barriers of formal classical concerts, with artists talking candidly with audience members who can sip cocktails and soak up the sunset River Torrens views from Lyrics.

It's cocktails, classical music and conversation all wrapped up in one great sunset experience.

Exquisite music will come to life in a fresh and inviting way as musicians share personal stories and historical connections about the program, which includes favourite works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Schubert.

Unwind at the end of the work day with chamber music at its finest, in a casual setting, without the formalities of the concert hall. Stay and chat with the artists afterward over a complimentary drink.

"An intimate classical music experience with Australia's leading concert artists. Casual, friendly, talkative, responsive chamber music at its finest presented in a way that breaks down barriers and excites people who are new to the genre," Niki says.

Come and enjoy intimate, informal, fine music in the stunning setting of the Lyrics at the Adelaide Festival Centre.
