PIPPIN Comes To Music Theatre Wichita This Month

Music Theatre Wichita presents PIPPIN, running from July 25 to July 29.

Circus spectacle and Fosse-style choreography explode from the stage in this brand new re-imagining of the 1972 Broadway smash. With an infectiously unforgettable score from four-time Grammy winner, three-time Oscar winner, and musical theatre giant, Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Children of Eden, Godspell, Hunchback of Notre Dame), PIPPIN sweeps its audience into the hilarious, sensuous, and poignant quest of young Prince Pippin to find meaning in his life.

This updated version of the show swept the New York Awards circuit in 2013 (Tony, Drama Desk, Drama League, Outer Critics Circle), and Music Theatre Wichita is thrilled to meet the exciting challenges this show poses for the singer-dancer-actor-acrobats in its 2018 summer company.
