Wicked Day Seats#1

Now all the kids have been realised from the prison we all call school, what time does one need to start queing for day seats, I am going for my birthday to the wednesday matinee on 6th August, so hopefully not a hugely popular time anyway, but I would like to be central as the person going with me has never seen it so i want the seat to be as good as possible! So any help on what time i need to arrive?

Well, in all fairness you've seen the show about 8 or 9 times already- don't you know how day seats work by now?
This board is getting more and more like the Broadway one with questions, questions about seating, rush seats etc etc all the time!

Well I Know how they work, but I've only ever done it once, and it was on a tuesday mid april, and I've been told you have to que up MUCH earlier in school holidays, and yes I have seen it more than a few times, but I'm mainly going as I am in London anyway with a friend who really wants to see it.

And who cares if its getting full with ticket questions, at least they're still theatre related questions that help people out, and its not as if theres a maximum amount of threads and if you are not interested in the title of a thread, then dont read it, you dont have to!

Ok! School hols could be strange!
Do mothers really want to stand outside a West End theatre all morning on a trip to London when they could be shopping? Maybe not! You could be lucky!
Also, think about the fact of, do you want to be in an audience full of kids instead of waiting until Sep/Oct!

What time do you normally have to start queuing for tickets in the off peak? I know Hairspray do day seats, does any other shows do them?
