Found a wicked BBC interview with the puppets on the net, it shows footage of the show and i repeat it is a must for all Q fans. IT IS SO FUNNY watch it on the BBC Culture Show or go to the website i'll include a link, when i saw it i thought gotta share it with you guys. Can't wait to see the show going on Saturday.

We definately need more musical theatre tv! For people who dont follow theatre as much as we do, it is good to have some of these shows publicised on tv. Even though Avenue Q is doing so well on word of mouth alone, the general public still may not have been as well informed about the show, so good old BBC2 for bringing it to peoples attention! Bring on more musical theatre tv!!!!

Saw the show on the TV!

Rare for the normally really dull "culture show" - what a stuck up, pompus name for it! - to cover any theatre properly and give it air time. Especially with good clips and a sense of fun. Good to see Cameron Mackintosh on TV as well.

Think AQ will sell well - and do well with the critics. Its a really well put together production with great themes, characters, songs and a good message.

I know its only just started and is only booking to Sept initially. but they should extend NOW and for years and years and years....

Yeah we need to have musicals pushed on national tv, its so annoying when you look at how often stars from broadway shows get interviewed, or you have the cast on doing numbers on american tv. Over here it just doesnt happen, you may get the odd celeb on something like Des and Mel but thats only if the show has a celeb in it! If you look at the broadway site for Q they are always on tv or at some event or you have a film crew on the street pushing the show and askin people 'how do you get to Av Q'? it helps to advertise the show and its fun to watch and makes the website more interactive, they need to do things like that over here! sigh and they wonder why west end shows find it had to survive prime example Movin Out!

Think Movin' Out closed due to a very bad campaign on all fronts Press, adverts and what ever. Who really knew it had opened let alone closed? They didn't tell us about it.
