Two great plays end their London runs today. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and The Little Dog Laughed. I was lucky enough to see both and I really enjoyed them both. Such a shame when the theatres they were in are getting some crap up soon :P

Plans are being made for 'Cat On a Hot Tin roof' to return this time next year. It has been one of the best selling plays in recent years.

Mark, a great headline, you are getting near my standard, but got a little way to go to reach Mama's league.

I walked past the Novello the other day and the amount of black people that was part of the audience surprised me, now I can understand why 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof' done so well, not just reaching out to the predictable white middle class audience, it found a new niche.

I never quite understood why we on the West End board insist on doing thread subjects like cheesy website headlines, but I guess it beats the constant "Is it just me..." or "[INSERT SHOW HERE] to close?!?!?!?!?!" of certain other boards. Goodbye Cats and Dogs

Saw both, enjoyed both (am developing quite the crush on Harry Lloyd!), but wasn't hugely overwhelmed by either. Glad to see they both had a healthy run at any road. :3

Not sure why you have to comment then, Weez??????
Its almost like you need to be negative towards us you just try and make the board a light and entertaining place.

Did I say it was bad? Nope! Just that I didn't quite understand it, but that it was better than the alternative. Then I used a little smiley face. Goodbye Cats and Dogs See?

Agree with SADM (long time since I have used that). No point in getting offended on something so trivial.

Anyway I pride myself on putting a great headline up, a bit of light hearted fun and great use of the imagination.

Mark came up with the great Goodbye Cats and Dogs and wish to compliment him on his use of imagination, however if Mark used 'Its raining cats and dogs' I would of being in awe.
