According to the Daily Mail, WAR HORSE's Jeremy Irvine and CINDERELLA's Richard Madden have signed on for a reading of Jake Brunger's new work FOUR PLAY.

Also in the cast are Tom Rhys Harris and Joshua McCord. The play tackles what Brunger sees as "the biggest stumbling block for gays in modern life" -- fidelity.

The official description reads: "After seven-and-a-half blissfully happy years, Rafe (Harries) and Pete (Irvine) have hit a rut. Having never slept with another man, their lack of sexual experience is slowly tearing them apart. When they proposition their mutual friend Michael (Madden) -- knowing full well that Michael has his own long-term boyfriend Andrew (McCord) -- complexities develop that none of the four could have predicted. A new comic play about the problems of monogamy and open relationships in a post gay-marriage era."

Brunger and director Jack Sain told the Mail they are also eyeing a full-fledged production of FOUR PLAY. "You never know, this cast might be available for a short run," Brunger said.

The reading is set for the Old Vic next Friday, June 26, as part of this year's New Voices Festival.
