Synopsis:

` 'Every year 15 million girls are married as children... 28 girls every minute, 1 every 2 seconds'.

AISHA is shattering new play that explores the grave effects of child marriage and child-sexual exploitation in the UK. Aisha was forced to marry a man triple her age, when she was only at the tender age of 14.

Writer, and Director AJ, provides you with a captivating trailer; informing those of what you can expect to see at his debut, but long-awaited new play AISHA. This trailer is truly unconventional in its making, and is undeniably different from The Other Theatre trailers out there. The trailer is in the form of a Short Film, and it truly exhibits the concurring theme present in the play, which is child marriage, and the other social issues it entails. Social issues such as child-sexual exploitation, rape and patriarchy are explored, exposed and brought to the forefront; forcing spectators to truly understand how child marriage affects children.
