Trudie Styler is set to appear in the West Coast and UK premieres of Addictions, three one-act plays by Tricia Walsh-Smith, this May at the Ray Kurtzman Theater in Los Angeles and at the Duchess Theatre in London's West End.  Dates and additional casting will be announced soon.  Each of these one-night-only events will be benefit performances for The Kevin Walsh Foundation to assist individuals who are struggling with drug or alcohol abuse.  Addictions will be directed by Christopher Biggins.

British playwright Tricia Walsh-Smith is the author of the hit play Bonkers, which premiered at the Man in the Moon Theatre in London.

"Addictions was written after her youngest brother Kevin committed suicide.  Tricia and her family realized that the tragic event was the result of his longtime addiction to alcohol and it is her hope that this play might help other suffering addicts," explain press notes

Addictions had its East Coast premiere in 2006 at New York City's Promenade Theatre with a celebrity reading benefiting Caron Treatment Centers, an internationally recognized leader in the treatment of addiction to alcohol and drugs.  It raised high six figures and the money is being used to rehabilitate adults who can't afford treatment.  Tricia hopes the two upcoming presentations of Addictions will surpass the success of the East Coast event.

Tricia Walsh-Smith is to be the subject of a new documentary produced by Freestyle Productions, a UK-based film production company.  Set to film in the UK and USA, the feature will examine Tricia's own personal struggle with addiction as well as her creative journey as an author, actress, producer, and philanthropist.
