Baz Bamigboye reports in today's UK Daily Mail that Sierra Boggess, who is soon set to depart LOVE NEVER DIES and who was in talks to star in REBECCA is now in talks to play the lead in SHE LOVES ME, directed by Stephen Mear at the Chichester Festival Theatre. No other details have been reported.

The book for She Loves Me was written by Joe Masteroff, with music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick; it is directed byJack Allison.

One of the most charming musicals ever written, She Loves Me is a sweet, light story of two co-workers in a perfume shop in 1930's Europe. These feuding clerks can barely tolerate the sight of each other, but have secret happy outlets with anonymous pen pals, not knowing, of course, that their mysterious correspondents are none other than each other. With warmth, intelligence and nostalgia, it's the perfect holiday musical, as Georg and Amalia come to a remarkable realization on Christmas Eve.

She Loves Me premiered at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre in New York City on April 22, 1963. It won the 1964 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical and was nominated for Best Musical, Best Author, Best Direction and Best Producer.
