The jack-of-all-trades actress, comedian, singer and writer Sandra Bernhard will return to London for the first time in two years, performing at the Leicester Square Theatre Wednesday, February 9, through Sunday, February 13, 2011. She will perform five shows based on her album, Whatever It Takes, which sends viewers on a cross-cultural musical experience from New York, to Africa, the Middle East and South America.

Bernhard is best-known for combining satire, comedy and cabaret into her live performances. Her last London appearance celebrated the 20th Anniversary of WITHOUT YOU I'M NOTHING, her award-winning one-woman production, which was released as a feature film. I'M STILL HERE...DAMN IT!, Bernhard's one-woman Broadway show, was praised by the New York Times as "an angst driven, foul-mouthed poison-laced joy ride that banks and careens frenetically through the worlds of fashion, celebrity, rock, and religion. In her own voice, unfiltered, [Bernhard] is a living, breathing bonfire," according to her website, www.sandrabernhard.com.

Bernhard has also been seen on television, guest-starring on such shows as Ally McBeal, Law & Order SVU, Will & Grace and The Sopranos.
