The RSC is piloting a late-night bus scheme to encourage more people to visit their theatres.

The company is working with Stagecoach Midlands to pilot a service from Stratford-upon-Avon. You can watch a show and then get back to Warwick, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and Coventry by bus.

Running on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays until 16 December 2023, the X18 service’s last bus of the evening will now leave from the Bridge Street bus stop at 10.30pm. The stop is just a four-minute walk from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

The compnay wants to encourage audiences to use low-carbon ways of getting to and from their theatres. The scheme is hoped to enable more people to visit the RSC at convenient times and sustainably.
