The Almeida presents the UK Premiere of Simon Stephens' Carmen Disruption this April. Directed by Michael Longhurst, this dramatic reimagining of Bizet's Carmen explores the possibility of love in a fractured urban world. Featuring internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano Viktoria Vizin, who completed her 100th performance of Carmen at the Budapest State Opera House in 2012, the cast also includes Jamie Cameron, Noma Dumezweni, Jack Farthing, Harry Napier, Sharon Small and Katie West.
