Organised Chaos Productions premiere another production you won't want to miss:

Catch glimpses of a world of women, drinking and cat-racing

in Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell, written by Keith Waterhouse.

Jeffrey Bernard, played by Phil Dennison, awakes early one morning to find himself locked in his favourite haunt, The Coach and Horses pub in Soho.

Unable to leave, and with only alcohol for company, he makes the best of the situation and reminisces about his world of women, drinking and cat-racing, sharing anecdotes from his life with the audience. The show is packed with characters performed by a versatile supporting cast of Edward Barry, Kirsty Fox, Simon Griffiths, Samantha Vaughan and Zoe Matthews.

The play's title refers to the The Spectator's habit of printing a one-line apology on a blank page when he was too drunk or hung-over to produce the required copy and a substitute article could not be found before the deadline for publication.

Following four successful productions from their 2009 script call this production sees the team behind Organised Chaos Productions take on more creative roles - Kirsty Fox will be joining the cast, Mark Creamer will be designing the lighting and Gayle Hare will be directing.

Jeffrey Bernard Is Unwell will be presented at Studio Salford (Above The Kings Arms, 11 Bloom Street, Salford, M3 6AN) from 17th November to 20th November at 8pm. Tickets are on sale at £7 (£5 concession) through www.studiosalford.com.

Organised Chaos Productions aims to find and nurture undiscovered and emerging talent in the North West providing platforms for this creativity by successfully taking care of all the production technicalities.

The company, headed by Gayle Hare, Kirsty Fox and Mark Creamer, have extensive experience in production, with credits in both film and theatre. Between them they have produced, managed, directed or performed at the Edinburgh and Buxton Fringe Festivals, the National Student Drama Festival, The Lowry, Studio Salford and the 24/7 Festival.
