Nigel Havers, Denis Lawson and Stephen Tompkinson will take on the age-old debate, 'What is art?', next year.

The Daily Mail writes that Christopher Hampton's translation of Yasmina Reza's ART will tour the UK starting at Cambridge Arts Theatre on February 14, 2018.

Ellie Jones is set to direct, based on Matthew Warchus's 2016 production at the Old Vic. The original London, Broadway and tour producers of ART, David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers, are back on board for this run.

ART is a French-language play by Yasmina Reza that premiered in 1994 at Comédie des Champs-Élysées in Paris. The English-language adaptation opened in the West End in 1996, starring Albert Finney, Tom Courtenay and Ken Stott, where it ran for eight years. ART made its way to Broadway in 1998 with Alan Alda, Victor Garber and Alfred Molina. It won the Tony for Best Play.

The comedy centers on three friends, Serge, Marc, and Yvan and their argument over what constitutes "art" after Serge buys a giant, expensive, white-on-white painting.

Havers will play Serge, Lawson will take the stage as Marc and Tompkinson will play Yvan.
