Radley College's The Milligan Cup, for Musical Theatre Performance, was held in the Theatre on the evening of 21st May. There were twelve finalists, representing all Radley yeargroups.

The Adjudicator was the distinguished Composer and West End 'MD' (Musical Director), Corin Buckeridge. Debbie Milligan, the presenter of the original trophy was present - and the Cup itself was presented by Michael Crawford (the original 'Phantom of the Opera' in the West End and on Broadway).

First Prize and the Milligan Cup was awarded to NEd Campbell (E Social), for his rendition of 'I'm Martin Guerre' from the Musical, 'Martin Guerre'. Second came Henry McPherson, who performed 'In Whatever Time We Have' from 'Children of Eden'. Third equal were Jamie Robinson, with his performance of 'The Confrontation' from 'Jekyll and Hyde', and Freddie Light, who sang 'Finishing the Hat' from 'Sunday in the Park with George'.

Corin Buckeridge praised all twelve finalists, declaring the overall standard to be "extraordinary".

The songs were accompanied by a six-piece band, led by SDJC and including members of the Music Department. The Theatre department also helped with Production, Lighting and Costumes.
