Missing Actor Paul Bhattacharjee Found Dead

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paul Bhattacharjee (Casino Royale, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel), who went missing following rehearsals for TALK SHOW AT THE ROYAL COURT in Sloane Square on July 10, has been found dead. Bhattacharjee was 53.

The actor last sent a text message to his girlfriend on July 10 at 9 p.m. and hadn't been heard from since. On Friday, July 19, a body was found on the shores of Seaford, East Sussex, which has since been formally identified as Bhattacharjee. His death is not being considered suspicious.

According to published reports, the actor was in "good spirits" when he was last seen and police have indicated that such a disappearance is "totally out of character".

The actor had alreday starred in two productions of TALK SHOW as a part of a summer repertory of 14 actors. Bhattacharjee is an actor of stage, film and television, known for his role as Inzamam Ahmed in EastEnders and appearances in the films Casino Royale, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Dirty Pretty Things.
