Lorraine McIntosh and Ewan Stewart will participate in the stage version of Tomas Alfredson's film Let the Right One In, directed John Tiffany (Once) at Dundee Rep, tonight, June 5-29.

According to Dundee's website, "Let the Right One In is a tender, funny and brutal love story following the burgeoning relationship between Oskar, a lonely bullied teenaged boy and Eli, a centuries-old vampire who befriends him."

Tony and Olivier Award-winning director John Tiffany (Black Watch, Once) heads up a creative team that includes Olivier Award-winning associate director Steven Hoggett (Black Watch, Beautiful Burnout, American Idiot) and original music by Olafur Arnalds.

McIntosh is best known for her work as a singer with the Scottish band Deacon Blue. On TV, she has starred in Taggart and River City. Ewan Stewart's TV credits include All Quiet on the Western Front and Only Fools and Horses. On film, Stewart has appeared in Titanic, Ecstasy and more.

Let the Right One In is presented by The National Theatre of Scotland by arrangement with Marla Rubin Productions Ltd and Bill Kenwright, in association with Dundee Rep Theatre.
