Leicester Comedy Festival Announces first London Previews In Association with Absolute Radio

First ever Leicester Comedy Festival London Preview Shows; with Absolute Radio at Laughing Boy Comedy Club on the 21st January and 28th January 2010.

Paving the way for the longest running comedy festival in the UK, Leicester Comedy Festival, which runs for a whopping 17 days (5th - 21st February) has announced its first ever London Previews.

Joining forces with Absolute Radio, home to comedic talent including Frank Skinner, Dave Gorman, Iain Lee, Christian O'Connell and Geoff Lloyd, January 21st will see the Laughing Boy Comedy Club host headlining act Brendon Burns.

A previous if.comedy award winner, Burns will appear along with Angelos Epithemiou, of BBC 2's Shooting Stars, Joe Bor (MC), Mark Olver and FHM's Search for a Stand-Up Hero Competition winner Marlon Davis

Jon Richardson will headline the second show on 28th January. Jon's previous credits include Have I Got News For You and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow. He will be joined by Dave Fulton, Pippa Evans, Ray Peacock (MC) and Joe Lycett.

All the preview acts will be performing at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2010, along side top comics Julian Clary, Lee Mack, Phil Nichol, Rhod Gilbert, Susan Calman, Count Arthur Strong, Shappi Khorsandi, Tim Vine, Ian McMillan, Stewart Lee, Jack Whitehall, Jimmy Carr, Pam Ayres, Nina Conti, Jason Byrne, Pappy's, Andrew Lawrence, Sarah Millican, Paul Chowdhry and Sean Lock.
