La Clique is thrilled to announce a selection of the performers who will be appearing during its strictly limited eight week season at the Roundhouse.

Impossible to define and impossible to resist, La Clique will feature more tinsel, more glitter and more glamour this Christmas when it opens at Camden's iconic Roundhouse. Following a hugely successful nine months at the London Hippodrome, La Clique will reopen at The Roundhouse for a limited run, from November 20th until January 17th 2010. Joining La Clique's ever-changing family of performers for this strictly limited Christmas season is a twisted mix of fabulous old favourites and thrilling new faces, including;

Carl-Einar Häckner
This famous, marauding Swede joins La Clique in London with his unique and shambolic brand of musical comedy and illusion. You will laugh against your better judgement at this delightful and sinfully talented comic magician. Carl-Einar is a classic Shakespearian fool, utterly clueless yet full of brilliantly executed routines. A mega-star in the land of the midnight sun, this lunatic is living proof that the Swedes have a sense of humour beyond exporting white bell-bottom jump suits and 70's pop anthems.

Le Gateau Chocolat
Le Gateau Chocolat is an opera-singing diva with a penchant for being wrapped in body-hugging lycra and a passion for laughter. This delicious confection is a killer baritone who delivers outrageous and moving renditions of pop, jazz and musical theatre numbers. Le Gateau Chocolat has performed at many prestigious venues including The Royal Opera House, London and Copenhagen Opera House. A real show-stopper, Le Gateau Chocolat has a warmth that will see the whole world addicted to chocolate.

Marawa
Sassy, hot to trot and as skilled as they come, Marawa Ibrahim is both sleek cabaret artist and cheeky clown. A virtuoso of the Hula-Hoop and a demon on skates, she has dazzled on stages across the world with her unique brand of coquettish comedy charming and amazing audiences in equal measure. Part Josephine Baker and part Betty Boop, she is an exquisite package of carnival energy.

Mario - Queen of the Circus
A showman of exceptional talents, Clarke McFarlane's Mario is a leather-bursting reincarnation of Freddie Mercury - that's if you can imagine a Freddie who had been able to juggle, ride a unicycle and if indeed he had ever run away to join the circus. Mario's greatest skill however is to turn even the most intimate of venues into a rocking arena spectacle.

Meow Meow
The term cabaret diva is a pathetically inadequate phrase to describe this prima donna chanteuse. Meow Meow is a star of gargantuan proportions, famed the world over for her virtuosic voice and her unconquerable stage presence. Beautiful and sexy, and haunted by a tantalizing shadow of darkness, she has seduced audiences with her own anarchic brand of vamped-up kamikaze entertainment. Enter her world of cracked cabaret, euro-opera trash, tragedy and high glamour.

The Skating Willers
For more than 27 years breathtaking roller-skating duo Jean-Pierre Poissonnet and Wanda Azzario have thrilled audiences around the world. They have entertained everyone from the Queen of Denmark to our very own Queen Elizabeth II. Known as the Skating Willers, this gravity-defying couple have performed at the Folies Bergère and the Royal Variety Performance and even appeared on the big screen in the James Bond classic, Octopussy.

Ursula Martinez
Hailing from Spain via Croydon, Ursula Martinez is a renowned writer, actress and cabaret performer. Her cult striptease act with its mischievous disappearing hanky is a jaw-dropping sensation. From high brow to low brow and from live art to loquacious party tricks, Martinez treads where few performers dare to go, with the audience right there along for the ride.

The Wau Wau Sisters
New York City's bravest and bawdiest burlesque duo burst into La Clique with their defiant mix of hell-raising humour, jaw-dropping circus skills and mesmerizing mayhem. A sly mix of physical prowess and guileless abandon, The Wau Wau Sisters are here to teach audiences their particular version of 'American Family Values'.

La Clique is an ever-changing line-up of some of the best international acts in the world and will feature guest appearances from local and international artists throughout the run. The daily line-up is subject to change.
