Over two years ago three children's nannies with a deep concern for the welfare of children and a serious passion for musical theatre were in a car on their way home from a gig when they gave birth to the concept of the Giggin4Good charity concerts.

When one of their young charges was rushed to Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital with a respiratory infection that necessitated urgent care, they witnessed first-hand the crucial and amazing work that the devoted hospital staff perform in aiding sick children back to health.

So Emma Howe, Karen Howe and Hayley Guild decided they wanted to give something back to what they describe as "this magical place" and transformed themselves into theatre producers to stage the first Giggin4Good charity concert at the Actors' Church, Covent Garden in July 2011.

The overwhelming success of that concert led to further highly acclaimed concerts in February and October 2012 and the fourth concert - Giggin4Good Summertime - will be presented at the Actors' Church on Sunday August 25.

This time round musical theatre performer Shaun McCourt, who played the role of Joseph numerous times in recent UK tours of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, has joined the team as co-producer of the event, Having performed in the last two Giggin4Good shows, Shaun will once again provide vocals for songs during the concert, when he will be joined by an array of West End, Off-West End and televison stars and some brand new talent, including:

Marcus Ayton, Victoria Hamilton Barritt, Andrew Bateup, Natalie Blenford, Charlotte Bradford, David Brewis, Sabrina Carter, Lucyelle Cliffe, Joseph Connor, Matthew Croke, Jordan Lee Davies, Jonathan Eio, Kelly-Anne Gower, Rosie Ladkin, Jordan Langford, Hannah Levane, Kira Morsley, Nathan Lodge, Ciaran O'Driscoll, Katie Paine, Laura Pitt-Pulford, Stuart Matthew Price, Joe Sterling, Benjamin Vivian Jones (who will also act as the concert's presenter), Ziggie Sky Ward, Kate Winney, Gary Wood.

Musical Direction will be by BWW:UK award-winner Huw Evans, whose credits include Rent (Greenwich Theatre) and Merrily We Roll Along (Theatr Clwyd) and is currently Assistant MD on the Evita UK tour.

The concert's programme will include songs from composers as diverse as George Gershwin, Stephen Schwartz and Paul Simon and from classic musicals such as West Side Story and Guys And Dolls as well as from more "modern" shows like Rent and A Man Of No Importance - and will also feature new writing by songwriters Joe Sterling, Jonathan Eio and Brunger & Cleary - and much more!

In short, Giggin4Good Summertime promises to be a high quality musical festival all in the aid of a very worthy cause - the Renal Unit and the Heart and Lung Transplant Units of Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
