What's going down?

Kurt turns up at Finn's locker with his dad, Burt, and Finn's mum, Carole, in tow, looking pleased as
punch. They have news for Finn, they say. Turns out the two lovebirds snuck into the classroom
where Kurt first introduced the pair and Burt proposed to her; she said yes, of course. Kurt is almost giddy with the idea of planning a wedding whereas poor Finn isn't quite sure what to think. "I guess I'm just kind of stunned," he says. Finn is stunned further when they reveal that they're going to be looking for a bigger house so they can all live together. "Be happy for me," Carole pleads. "I am, Mom," he replies. Burt's one request to Kurt as wedding planner is that he sorts out a good band so he can "boogie" the night away. Kurt's suggestion? The New Directions. "You're having a Glee wedding."

"The big day has finally arrived for one Sue Sylvester." Who on earth is Sue marrying? is the main
question we're all wondering. After being humiliated on air as co-hosts Rod, who Sue previously
dated, and Andrea announced their engagement, she has decided to marry herself. I'm
sure you're all as confused as I am. She tried online dating but there was only one match for Sue
Sylvester, Sue Sylvester.

Finn and Sam are doing weights in the gym. Competition between the two is still fierce as Sam is
determined to get back his position as quarterback: "I still want to be friends but I'm kinda on the
cusp of being one of the most popular guys in school." Finn didn't think that he was the kind of
person who cared about that stuff but obviously he was wrong. "Everyone does, being on top means that you don't have to take crap from anybody." It will also give him more of a chance of getting Quinn to be his girlfriend.

Sam has pulled Quinn away for a chat and tells her he wants them to be the stars of McKinley. He
gets a bit too full on though when he blurts out, "I think I love you" and gets down on one knee and whips a ring out. "We've known each other for six weeks. Stand up, you're freaking me out," she tells him. He tells her that one day he does want to marry her but until then will she accept this promise ring? "I promise to make you feel proud when you point down the hall and say that dude's my boyfriend." Aww. Excuse me while I make a quick trip to the toilet to vomit. Poor Sam is left alone after she tells him maybe and walks out.

Finn is slightly confused (what's new?) by Kurt's wedding itinerary. Releasing 300 doves indoors
seems a bit messy to him. Finn tells him that he wants to take this opportunity to do something
special as well as "remind everyone that I'm a leader": feeling a bit self-conscious about Sam, are we, Finn? Kurt suggests a lovely mother-and-son dance; after all he's been planning weddings since he was two, so he knows his stuff.

As Finn leaves, Dave Karofsky once again comes up to Kurt and hands out some serious
aggression. "I don't want you near me," Kurt tells him. After witnessing this, Will takes him off to
talk to the principal. Sue is surprisingly sympathetic to Kurt's situation but because Karofsky didn't
physically hurt him she tells him, "Lady, I can't suspend a student just because he scares you."
Growing up with her sister Jean being bullied she knows how hard it is but tells Kurt it will make him
stronger in the long run. When Kurt tells them that they don't know what's going on in his head or what he's capable of, Will questions him about it. Sue promises him, though, that if Karofsky lays one finger on him he has to go to her and she'll expel him "faster than a Thai take-out place can bag your delivery order" but until then there's nothing that she or the school board can legally do. As Kurt and Will leave, Kurt turns to Sue and says, "You know when you call me Lady, that's bullying and it's really hurtful." Sue apologises, saying she thought that was his name (?!) and offers him a list of nicknames to choose from, with "porcelain" being the chosen one.

Rachel has called a meeting with the Glee ladies to discuss the Kurt and Dave situation. Her
suggestion is to get all their boyfriends, who are on the football team with Dave, to band together
and force him into submission for bullying Kurt. "I think you just set the feminist movement back
about 50 years," Quinn quips; she doesn't think that violence should be fought with violence. "If
something bad happens to Kurt and we didn't do anything to stop it, we won't be able to live with
ourselves," is Rachel's parting statement.

Marcia Dean of Marcia Dean weddings is very confused by Sue's plan to marry herself and officiate
the ceremony. Specialising in unique weddings, Sue's is slightly too unique for them. Sue fires her
telling her, "nothing is too good for Sue Sylvester". Just then who should enter but Sue's mum, Doris, played by Carol Burnett. Seems like "Susie" is a chip off the ol' block as Doris tells Marcia, "I bet some people say you look mannish but you know something? I think it's perfectly alright for a woman to be handsome." Why is Doris back? "We've finally caught the last Nazi." Sue isn't happy to see her because she hasn't seen or heard from her in the last three years and Doris isn't happy at the idea of Sue's unusual wedding. She agrees to go though and says as a wedding gift she'll sing.

Finn is refusing to confront Karofsky about bullying Kurt as he thinks it will lead to Sam becoming
quarterback. Rachel can't believe he's being so insensitive as to not help the person who is going to
be his stepbrother but Finn insists that he can help him more if he stays on top. "I'm sorry. I want
to but I can't." "I've never been so disappointed in you before," Rachel says. Artie and Mike, though, have taken their girlfriends' advice and square up to Karofsky in the locker room. "If he wants to be a homo then that's up to him but don't rub it in my face," is Karofsky's response. When he knocks the both of them down Sam jumps in and punches are thrown left, right and centre and it's left to Bieste to break the pair of them up.

Tina, Quinn and Brittany are looking after their boys after their run-in. "Where were you, Finn?"
Santana asks. He says that he was still on the football field and that he "totally would have given him a beat down" if he was there. Way to show you're a leader, Finn. Kurt asks them to lay off Finn and thanks them for what they did even though it was none of their problems. He gets his comeuppance, though, when Mike describes Sam as "the epitome of a leader".

Doris has arranged a rehearsal with Will to prepare for Sue's wedding but of course this only angers
Sue more: "let's get this over with." Doris says to Sue, "I know you've always resented my leaving
but I don't think you ever truly appreciated the sacrifices I made to be a famous Nazi hunter." She
has chosen to sing "Ohio" from the musical "Wonderful Town". The two give a humorous and
touching performance as the song is interjected by quips about Nazi hunting and leaving Sue and
Jean at home.

Kurt is giving Finn and Burt dance lessons in prep for the wedding. Things are going well until it's
Finn's turn to dance with Kurt to be taught the steps and he asks to shut the door because he's not comfortable with people watching. "What are you talking about?" asks Kurt, "you danced in front of a thousand people at Regionals." Just then Karofsky walks past and make a lewd hand gesture towards them. "What the hell was that?" yells Burt. Kurt tells him about the harassment and the shoving but Burt insists that there's something that he's not telling him and when Kurt tells him that Karofsky threatened to kill him Burt chases down the corridor after him. "What the hell have you been doing while all this has been going on?" he shouts at Finn.

Sue has callEd Kurt and Karofsky into her office with their dads. "He said he'd kill me if I told
anyone," Kurt explains and when Sue asks him what that something is he refuses to let it slip about
the kiss and instead says "just that he was picking on me". Karosky says it isn't true but even his dad has been noticing that he's been acting differently. Sue decides to expel him and she will not have a student threatening the life of another and says that if he wants to appeal he can take it to the school board.

It's the day of the wedding and Santana comes to the aid of Finn, unable to tie his tie. "I'm guessing you know that you're losing it, Sam is clearly the new Glee favourite," she digs. She even calls him 'Frankenteen' (Cory's actual twitter name). She says he needs a "coolness injection" and thinks that the way to do it is to admit that he slept with Santana. He can't do that, though, after Rachel admitted that she didn't sleep with Jesse, she was happy that they could save it for each other. Santana doesn't see the problem but Finn says he loves her so doesn't want to hurt her.

As the wedding ceremony begins the Glee club give Burt and Carole quite an entrance as they
perform a song and dance routine to Bruno Mars' "Marry You", clearly drawing inspiration from the
infamous wedding entrance video that went viral on YouTube. It's an emotional ceremony as the
two tell each other how much they love each other and the family that they are becoming, Finn and Kurt included.

It's Burt and Carole's first dance as Will takes to the stand to perform the infamous "Sway" and
quite clearly he can give Bublé a run for his money. Kurt's dance lessons have also clearly paid
off. Afterwards Finn takes to the stage to make a speech: "even without one in the house, you've
taught me how to be a man," he says to his Mum. He pays reference to the names that the couples within the Glee club have, such as "Finchel" and "Puckleberry" and now after today's marriage there's "Furt", Finn and Kurt, "brothers from another mother". He admits to Kurt that he hasn't manned up how he should have the past few weeks but promises to have his back from now on. As a thank you to Kurt, he's had the Glee club put a number together in his honour, another Bruno Mars hit "Just The Way You Are" and even pulls Kurt up to dance with him. By the end of it everyone is on their feet and having a great time.

It's Sue's wedding rehearsal and she and Doris have visited Jean. When Doris tells her "there's
nothing like spending time with my girls" Jean questions her as to why she left. Sue then enters
wearing a rather amazing tracksuit wedding dress as she starts to ‘officiate' the ceremony, all that
Doris can say is that it's "insane" and that she just wants a special moment with her girls. Sue tells
her that they've had lots of special moments but that she just wasn't there. She and Jean have
become their own family and Sue refuses to let Doris just waltz back in, calling her a bully and says
she's uninvited from the wedding.

After standing up for Kurt, and getting a black eye in the process, Sam has made quite an impact on Quinn. "We've been talking this whole time and you haven't even noticed that I'm wearing your ring," she smiles. Turns out he's made such an impact that she broke into his locker to steal it. Things take another turn for the worst for Kurt as the school board has overturned Sue's decision to expel Karofsky. Kurt says that he can't go back to being terrified all the time, afraid of what's round the corner. In protest Sue has resigned as principal, saying that she doesn't want to be in charge and not be able to do anything to protect Kurt, meaning that Figgins is returning and that she'll have his back in the corridors of McKinley.

At Glee Kurt has an announcement to make. He tells them that as hard as it is to leave McKinley he's transferring to Dalton Academy. Instead of going on a honeymoon Burt and Carole are using the money that they saved to pay for his tuition. The boys offer to protect him at all times but it's not enough and his decision is made, leaving the club devastated.

11 o'clock number

More of Sue singing? Yes, yes, yes. Her and Doris' rendition of "Ohio" was one of the most comical
performances of the show so far and suited the pair down to a tee. I loved the idea for the "Marry
You" number and making a mental note for when, many years in the future, I myself get married. (If
you want to watch the original video search JK Wedding Dance on Youtube). Will singing big band
is something I always want to see and he showed some definite sex appeal during "Sway", note
producers that his voice suited this style way more than previous numbers he's had. Finally who
didn't have a smile on their face after Finn's tribute to Glee with another Bruno Mars song, "Just The Way You Are"?

Quote of the week

Sue: "I can't suspend someone for shoving you into a locker. He'll just say he tripped and accidentally pushed you. I use that excuse all the time."

Overall

The big shocker of this week: Kurt is transferring to Dalton Academy. Surely this cannot be? What
is our club, now a member down on their precious twelve, going to do without their belovEd Kurt?
I do however hope that this means the chances of a Kurt/Blaine romance are going to be greatly
increased. Aside from the shock ending, tonight's episode was both sweet and touching and it's
be interesting to see how Finn and Kurt's relationship develops now that they're all a family. Poor
Sue, it's little wonder that she turned out the way she did, considering what Doris is like. Could her
parents have had any other occupation aside from professional Nazi hunters? I think not. I'm sensing even more relationship drama ahead, now that Quinn and Sam are finally a couple and Santana has threatened to reveal to Rachel that she took Finn's v.
