Exclusive: Olivier Nominee Holden Hints At Return To West End In 2014

Olivier award nominee and Britain's Got Talent star Amanda Holden may be returning to the West End in 2014.

Speaking exclusively to BWW:UK at the gala performance of ONE MAN TWO GUVNORS at Theatre Royal Haymarket on Thursday night, she said we would see her on stage again 'possibly next year'.

HOLDEN was nominated for the Olivier award for best actress in a musical for her performance in Thoroughly Modern Millie in 2004, in which she starred alongside Maureen Lipman.

She was last on the West End stage in 2011, playing Princess Fiona in the original London production of Shrek. The cast at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane also included EastEnders star Nigel Harman as Farquaad, Richard Blackwood as Donkey, and Nigel Lindsay as the titular green ogre.
