Empty Space Peter Brook Awards Given At National Theatre Studio on the Cut 11/2

On November 2nd 2010 at 11:00am - 2:00pm the awards will be once again in their new permanent home at the National Theatre Studio on the Cut, SE1 opposite the Old Vic to celebrate our 21st Anniversary. This studio houses the archives of the National Theatre Productions, a Series on 20th Century Theatre Makers, plus studios for workshopping new plays. Purni Morell heads the studio.

The Peter Brook Awards will have our various critics give background analysis of the nominees and present them with prize money plus certificates. The Dan Crawford Innovation Award (sponsored by Nica Burns of Nimax Theatres Ltd.); the Mark Marvin Rent Subsidy Award (an award shared by a company and a theatre venue); the Peter Brook/Equity Ensemble Award (partially sponsored by Equity) will also have submissions announced in addition to the main Empty Space... Peter Brook Award. All the winners will be revealed on Award day. Please note the Mark Marvin Rent Subsidy Award is open to all companies and Studio Theatres so submit your projects or enquire about the award from Blanche Marvin.

Please come and join us for the greatest networking day of the year. Once you have been invited, you are a life member.
