Eddie Izzard Brings 'Stripped' to the Lyric Theatre Starting 11/17

What's On Stage is reporting that actor and comedian Eddie Izzard will be returning to the West End next month to perform his latest stand-up show, Stripped, for twenty-three days at the Lyric Theatre.

Stripped will run at the Lyric from November 17th, 2008 through December 12th, 2008. The show had a critically acclaimed tour across the United States this Summer including three completely sold out performances at Radio City Music Hall.

Izzard starred in the FX television series, "The Riches," opposite Minnie Driver.  He recently reprised his appearance in "Ocean's Thirteen" and earned a Tony Award-nomination for his turn in A Day in the Death of Joe Egg.

Izzard's past solo shows include the double Emmy Award-winning show Dressed to Kill, as well as Live at the Ambassadors, Unrepeatable, Circle, Definite Article, Glorious and Sexie. Izzard's London stage credits include the title role in the once-Broadway-bound Lenny Bruce bio Lenny and the world premiere of David Mamet's The Cryptogram. His film credits include "Ocean's Twelve," "Velvet Goldmine," "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" and  "Across the Universe."
