Inspired by the Rudyard Kipling classic novel, Disney's 1967 animated masterpiece, The Jungle Book, is without a doubt one of the world's most loved animated movies.
As the last film to be produced by Walt Disney, Disney's The Jungle Book has stood the test of time as a defining animation that combines a heart-warming story with a sing-along soundtrack that has touched the lives of every childhood.

Now for the very first time, Disney In Concert: The Jungle Book will premiere at London's Royal Festival Hall on 26th March 2017 for a matinee and evening performance. Bringing to life a score and soundtrack like never before, the concert will be an unforgettable moment for fans across all ages who have enjoyed and grown up to classics such as "Trust In Me," "That's What Friends Are For (The Vulture Song)," and of the course the showstopper, "The Bare Necessities."

Disney In Concert: The Jungle Book is the ultimate in symphonic cinema concerts, featuring iconic songs by The Sherman Brothers; the UK premiere is a must see for all fans of Disney, those who just can't grow old, and of course the original 1967 feature film.

Richard Sherman commented, "It's a big thrill for me to know that the songs my brother, Robert, and I wrote for the last film Walt Disney personally produced are being honored in such a unique and exciting manner. I feel it is a wonderful way of introducing this Disney classic to contemporary audiences".

Produced by Senbla Live, the full length film will be shown in stunning HD on the big screen, accompanied by a 50-piece live orchestra with a full ensemble of singers, with special guest names to be announced in due course.

Ollie Rosenblatt, MD of Senbla Live commented "For over half a century The Jungle Book has been a part of childhood for millions around the world. The music is timeless and you can't help but crack a smile when the soundtrack starts to play. We are thrilled to be bringing Disney In Concert: The Jungle Book to London's prestigious Royal Festival Hall where we will entertain fans of all ages with this wonderful story and concert with our fabulous orchestra and singers".
