West End leading lady and songstress, Carolyn Maitland, makes her debut at Live At Zédel tonight, October 28, in Songs Chosen By You, when she will create an evening inspired by engaging with others.

In this "cabaret with a difference" - a social media concert creation - not one song has been chosen by Maitland herself! Using Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms, the general public were encouraged to request a song they would like Maitland to sing (or reinvent), followed by the hashtag #SongsChosenByYou...

The audience can expect to hear a variety of musical genres, including musical theatre, pop and even a hint of jazz, blended together with some familiar arrangements and some not so familiar, with brand-new twists.

Maitland was most recently seen as Molly in the UK tour of Ghost. Her West End credits include Joelle/Understudy Rita Hanson in Groundhog Day (The Old Vic), Ellen in Miss Saigon (Prince Edward Theatre), Rose/Understudy Karen Holmes in From Here to Eternity (Shaftesbury Theatre) and Understudy Lilli Vanessi/Kate in Kiss Me, Kate (The Old Vic & Chichester Festival). In 2014 she was a BWW/UK Award Winner as Understudy Of The Year.

She will be joined at Live At Zedel by some special surprise guests, who will be announced soon on social media.

The show is set for Live at Zédel tonight, Saturday 28th October 2017 at 9.15pm. Purchase tickets HERE!
