Axel Scheffler, illustrator of THE GRUFFALO, ROOM ON THE BROOM To Sign Books At The Pleasance Theatre December 19

Axel Scheffler, illustrator of THE GRUFFALO, ROOM ON THE BROOM and many other fantastic children's books, will be signing books at the Pleasance Theatre, off Caledonian Road in Islington, on Saturday 19 December at midday.
The book signing will follow the 11am performance of ROOM ON THE BROOM. Children (and childish Adults!) who wish to get their books signed can watch the earlier performance or go to the signing, then have a special meal from the magic menu at the Woodstore restaurant (the Pleasance's downstairs neighbours) and go to the 2pm performance...
NOTES
Axel Scheffler is a star illustrator in the world of children's books, and has created many bestsellers including the award-winning THE GRUFFALO and ROOM ON THE BROOM. Born in Hamburg, Axel now lives in London where he works in a studio overlooking a quiet garden populated by birds and foxes.
This is of special relevence at the moment, as The Gruffalo animated tale is being broadcast on BBC1 on Christmas day, and is currently running on London's West End.
