Anna Chancellor will star in Rory Mullarkey's THE WOLF FROM THE DOOR, directed by James Macdonald at the Royal Court's Jerwood Theatre Upstairs. The new play begins previews on September 10 and opens on September 15, 2014.

Chancellor will play "a titled lady on a road trip across Middle England with a young chap in tow with the aim of changing the country".

Chancellor starred in the West End last year in Private Lives and also starred on Broadway in 1997's Stanley.

She is currently appearing on television in Penny Dreadful and Pramface, as well as the mini-series Fleming. Her past TV credits include The Hour, Hidden, Inspector Lewis, Downton Abbey, MI-5, Suburban Shootout and more. She will next be seen on the big screen in Testament of Youth.
