Loud, fearless, hilarious. An all-women sketch comedy lineup joins the Woke Mob Comedy Festival, raising funds for DC Abortion Fund!
Girlboss Sketch Show is bringing DC the biggest all-women sketch comedy lineup of the Woke Mob Comedy Festival! This late-night showcase features some of the sharpest, boldest sketch troupes in the city: Bad Medicine, Grace and the Gang, Chaps, and The RENS. Delivering fast, fearless, laugh-out-loud comedy chaos. It’s punk-rock energy, powerhouse performances, and zero apologies as these women take the stage to burn down the patriarchy (with jokes).
About the Woke Mob Comedy Festival
The woke mob is rising up! With an absolutely unhinged dedication to diversity, bodily autonomy, and democracy itself, we are undrainable swamp people who work hard every day to keep our home in the DMV culturally hostile to the fascists in power. And honestly? We deserve to have fun while we do it.
The Woke Mob Comedy Festival celebrates everything that makes this region the best, even as the rest of the country sends us its worst. We’re showcasing the DMV’s funniest comedians, especially highlighting BIPOC, women, LGBTQ+ and gender-queer performers, plus a few “prodigal” comics who got their start here before heading national. Check out the full festival schedule here.
It'll be hilarious, joyful, AND every show gives back! With our neighbors under attack, we're raising funds for local organizations that are helping some of our region's most vulnerable. A percentage of ticket sales from this show go to DC Abortion Fund.
DC Abortion Fund
DC Abortion Fund is one of the largest abortion funds in the country, funding abortions for those living in and traveling to the DC region. With the best abortion access in the country, connections to multiple area clinics, and a relentlessly supportive community behind them, DCAF makes abortion access happen for thousands every year.
